4DSOUND Studio Booking (no application required)
Individuals and groups of up to four people can book the studio without application, with a dedicated spatial sound engineer. Your exploration, your vision, with our tools and expertise.
We recommend this format for those who want to get acquainted with the 4DSOUND system, whether you want to try the software before committing to a residency, if you're travelling and would like to spend a few hours in the studio, or for those who simply wish to listen to sound works from our archive.
The works produced in our studio utilizing the 4DSOUND system can be scaled to any sound system with any number of channels. They range from binaural audio for headphones to multi-channel systems with over a hundred speakers.
Included Services:
Each session includes a dedicated full-time spatial sound engineer.
You will have the opportunity to record and mix in binaural audio during working hours.
Complimentary water and coffee are provided for your comfort.
For bookings of 20 hours or more, we grant a 1-year 4DSOUND license, enabling you to continue developing your piece on your own computer. (Please refer to the technical specifications required to work with 4DSOUND at home.)
Please Note:
Full hourly rate applies.
To create a new spatial sound piece, we recommend booking between 20 and 40 hours.
If you require expertise from another discipline, please arrange their invitation. We have a network of experts who could provide assistance.
