Co-Production Program

MONOM’s Co-Production Program supports spatial sound projects while fostering collaboration between artists and our studio. Participation is by application, and acceptance is reserved for creators whose vision aligns with MONOM’s curatorial and artistic research focus.

What’s Included

Minimum booking: 40 hours

  • Studio + Engineer: €100/hour (50% off the standard rate of €200/hour).

  • Producer: €50/hour (50% off the standard rate of €100/hour) – Minimum 5 hours

  • One-year 4DSOUND R&D license 

  • Private listening session for up to 30 attendees (Read terms and conditions).

OUTPUT

  • Master Omnigrid Multichannel Recording 57 channels for MONOM Studio Berlin & other Omniwave speaker grids. This recording is made to play back the piece as it was composed in Monom’s setup (57 channels), and intended to be presented as a standalone sound installation in its most perfect form.

  • Ableton Session: Ableton file format that contains the control elements of the 4DSOUND instrument.

  • Master Digital recording (2 channels): A deliverable binaural mix down made from the 4DSOUND software, meant to be played back through  (headphones), as well as in Stereo or Dolby Atmos.

Total minimum investment: 40 hours (€4,250)

Recommended: 80 hours (€8,500)

OPTIONAL

  • Mixing and Mastering: €1500/project starting price (20 mins).

  • Dolby Atmos Mixing: €800/project starting price.

  • Creative Consultancy: €150/hour.

Archive Integration

Completed projects may be invited to join MONOM’s Spatial Sound Archive, granting long-term licensing and promotion opportunities.
